Research Projects
Current research projects focus on aspects of Quaternary paleoenvironmental change and landscape evolution, hazard mitigation and geoarcheology. Examples include:
Transient landscapes, temporally variable erosion rates, and impact of glaciation & climate change on landscape morphodynamics: Himalaya, Alaska, Scotland & New Hampshire
Neotectonics and structural development of the Northern Walker Lane and Eastern California Shear Zone
Quaternary glaciation of the Himalaya and Tibet
Rates of denudation throughout the Himalaya
Rates of crustal deformation and landscape evolution along the San Andreas fault system
Geoarchaeology of Chaco Canyon, New Mexico
Geoarchaeology in the Eastern Pampa-Patagonia transition, Argentina
Quaternary landscape evolution of Trinidad and Tobago
